Challenges
The previous version of the website was setup in 2016, which only serves as an information portal. The Chest team utterly need a modern responsive design website that comes with the features of online donation, event enrollment, content management and accessibility support. Another challenge is to migrate an enormous amount of data and redirect the traffic from search engines to new destinations.
What We Achieved
The Chest team appointed Chicle in 2021 to revamp the official website. Throughout the six-month development period, the Chicle team worked closely with The Chest team to establish a responsive website with accessibility support for visitors with disabilities. The new online donation system blends with the event enrollment features. Individuals and corporate participants could donate with mainstream payment methods, such as PayMe, FPS, Alipay, WeChat Pay and credit cards. The new system allows staff to generate e-receipts and reports supporting daily operations.
Other than this, the Chicle team also custom-built content approval and scheduling features, which enable internal teams to collaborate and prepare promotions and announcements for large-scale events.
